Grandpa

I have the most amazing grandfather. He is full of humility, grace and generosity. He has taught, and continues to teach me how to be a better person and love unconditionally. Sadly he was recently diagnosed with terminal lung cancer and has fallen very ill in a very short amount of time. We drove up to San Francisco last weekend to pay him a visit and had a great time. Lots of tears, but so many smiles, laughs and great memories were shared.

We love you Abuelo, keep fighting.

I love San Francisco! It's one of my favorite places to visit. My dad grew up in the city and my grandparents still live there, and I was fortunate enough to visit multiple times every year since childhood. There is nothing like the sea breeze and fog in the Bay Area.
